Spacious room that was recently fixed up. Having a living room area with a comfy sofa was a great addition 😊.

The room had fabulous views and was very clean - the staff were very good.

The main course of the evening meal was very small - in fact the next table complained about the portion size. The food was good but not very much of it!! The cheese board was excellent!!

Appreciated the place and had a superb one-night stay. It was luxurious and fairly quiet with stunning views. - the location was great and in a new area not far from the Gallery Restaurant, Chatsworth Park, and other restaurants.

It's a comfy hotel for celebrating birthday in Baslow. The location is stunning and handy, 3 km from Church of st Peter. Furthermore, it's very close to the Peak District near Chatsworth estate, the fields and the restaurant.

The venue is impeccably clean. the staff is efficient and knowledgeable. - the rooms are fashionable and recently refurbished with a lounge and a sofa. - Nothing is too much trouble, and I will choose the place for future trips. Overall, the Cavendish Hotel in Baslow impresses with its pristine cleanliness, helpful staff, stylish rooms that have been recently updated, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great choice for future visits.

I liked the hotels proximity to Chatsworth House and other places of interest.

I found the hotel room draughty and a little cold.

The breakfast they served was yummy and came out quick, plus they used local bacon. the double room on the terrace was a cozy spot to enjoy some drinks before lunch. 🌞

The small candles on the table in the dining room represent a fire hazard. My wife's napkin went up in flames and I was told that one guest was reading the menu while it was burning! Maybe a risk assessment is required?

We received a very warm welcome. The service was first-class, the rooms luxurious - with breathtaking views. We couldn't fault the whole experience and would definately pay a return visit and recommend the hotel unreservedly.
